Carbon Foot Print
The product Carbon Footprint arrives in 2024.
In 2024, we obtained the Carbon Footprint Systematic Approach certification in accordance with the ISO 14067:2018 standard. This is a further concrete sign of our commitment to the environment. This certification attests to the implementation of a system through which we can independently create and record the carbon footprints of all our products. We measured the climate impact of our Fior di Latte: 18.264 kg CO2e/U.F. (data year 2022 – PCR “Dairyproducts” 2021:08). We did this using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, which allows us to analyze and therefore intervene on the environmental impacts of a product throughout all phases of its life cycle, from “cradle to grave”: from milk production to end-of-life, through all stages of production, transportation, use by the end consumer, and disposal.
What is this tool for?
