Sustainability Report 2025

Letter to Stakeholders

For Centrale del Latte del Molise, 2025 was a year of growth and consolidation.

We continued to operate in a complex environment characterized by cost volatility, evolving consumer habits, and increasingly high demands for quality, safety, innovation, and sustainability. In this scenario, we maintained a clear direction: strengthening the company, investing in the future, and creating lasting value for people, the local territory, and all the stakeholders who accompany our work. Over the course of the year, we recorded a 10% increase in turnover, reaching a total value of 49 million euros. This result confirms the market’s trust in our products and in our ability to respond with reliability, flexibility, and expertise to the needs of Italian and international customers.

For us, economic growth is never an isolated achievement. It is the condition that enables us to continue investing in quality, food safety, technological innovation, production efficiency, and sustainability. Since 2018, we have planned investments of over 30 million euros in our plant, aiming to expand, automate, and make the production facility more efficient, reduce its environmental impact, and introduce new technologies. It is a long-term industrial project that has allowed us to reorganize workflows, increase production capacity, improve safety and efficiency standards, and create the necessary conditions to support future growth.

In 2026, we will launch the final tranche of this program, dedicated to upgrading the logistics area and product cooling systems in the final stages of the production cycle. The plan also includes the construction of a new 1 MW photovoltaic plant, which will strengthen our capacity to generate renewable energy and help further reduce the environmental impact of our corporate activities. This new initiative is part of a journey already underway for years through whey valorization, electricity and thermal energy generation via cogeneration, water recovery, process optimization, and the reduction of packaging materials used.

Company growth also requires governance tools suited to its evolution. For this reason, we have continued to strengthen our governance system and, in particular, the Organization, Management, and Control Model adopted pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001. For us, this serves as an essential tool to prevent risks, ensure fairness and transparency in processes, and consolidate the trust of customers, suppliers, and all entities with which we collaborate. In a phase of growth and major industrial transformations, solid governance is a necessary condition to ensure continuity, reliability, and accountability in decision-making.

We also view growth through the value of our people. In 2025, we obtained gender equality certification according to the UNI/PdR 125:2022 reference practice—a result recognizing a structured path that commits us to continuing work on equity, inclusion, development opportunities, and work-life balance.

Our vision for the coming years is built on four priorities: sustainable growth, innovation, people development, and environmental responsibility. We remain a family-owned business deeply rooted in Molise, but with our eyes set on national and international markets. We want to keep growing without losing what sets us apart: attention to product detail, the pragmatic nature of our work, our bond with the local region, and our ability to turn tradition and expertise into value.

The 2025 Sustainability Report highlights our results, choices, and commitments. Above all, however, it reflects a direction: building a stronger, more modern, and responsible company today, capable of generating long-term value. Our thanks go to our employees, dairy farmers, suppliers, customers, partners, institutions, and local communities who continue to share this path with us.
